Doug Fuchs has been a law enforcement officer since 1988 beginning in Boston, MA and is now the Chief of the Redding, CT Police Department. A past president of the CT Police Chief’s Association and current adjunct professor of criminal justice, Chief Fuchs has extensive experience in joint operations with career and volunteer fire and EMS agencies.

In this episode Chief Fuchs shares some stories about when a simple medical call can go wrong, even for a police chief, “taking care of each other” at Sandy Hook, best practices for “working together”, tips for getting along on scene and more.
